Business Law covers a wide area of legal practice areas, including:

  • contracts
  • securities law
  • intellectual property
  • antitrust
  • tax law
  • labor and employment law
  • bankruptcy.

Bill’s experience and knowledge in general business law comes from his many years of practice and his Master’s Degree in tax law from the University of Florida.

Bill focuses on the following areas in business law:

  • entity formation
  • business purchase and sales
  • buy-sell agreements among shareholders or partners
  • exit strategy
  • succession planning.

In some ways, these areas of business law work hand-in-hand with estate planning. If you are a business owner or partner having an exit strategy or a succession plan in place is a critical part of your estate planning. Without this planning in place you are doing a disservice to both your loved ones and your employees.
